Here is a rough idea of what I have in mind for the song "were going to be friends" by white stripes. Planning on going with a cartoon feel but not sure yet. For now the general idea is to make a visualization of 2 children going to school and being very care free.
I really like your idea. It sounds adorable and I love the song. I think it would benefit from being animated, but if you can find two children willing to work with you I think that'd be cute too, just harder to work with. :)

ReplyDeleteAlways think its a great idea to use an existing soundtrack, altho probably run into copyright issues. Still tho, the concept gets handed to you in a way, which is more than fine. Technique and staging will mean everything. try to do some prototypes of what you want to do - what technique will get the message across. Do you need to illustrate what the lyrics are saying? try not to be literal. This could work well for you.
